Deliverables: 

After designing a Excel Workbook to organize my work, I made well over 100 new contacts. This required conducting internet-based research, recording names, addresses, websites and phone numbers, then tracking the focused outreach. 

Success is Measured by: Any new connection resulting in a new blood drive event.

Results: 10 Uniquely New, Likely Longterm Partner Relationshps ✅

Goal 2: Advocacy  & Health Education Promotion

1 - Raising Awareness of Blood Supply Shortage & Need for              Blood Donation.

2 - Increasing Awarness of Sickle Cell and Match Needed.

3 - Communications: Tabling, Social Media, Media.

Deliverables:

Outreach: Each email outreach communication was an oppertunity to address the ongoing Critical and Emergancy shortage of blood supply, and Emerigancy match shortage of blood supply needed to treat persons with Sickle Cell, along with key urgent facts about blood donation.

Meetings: Each meeting included the topic of the ongoing shortage of blood supply and emergancy shortage of blood supply match.  For persons born before 1990 in the United States, they never benifited from the baseline Newborn Screening Test for Sickle Cell, and may not know they hold the much needed blood supply match, or if they carry the Sickle Cell Trait. The American Red Cross includes this screening for free with each blood donation.  

Results: Every new outreach communication and meeting included a discussion about sickle cell education awareness. ✅ 

Goal 2: Deliverables Results Continued

Aim's: Raising awareness of ongoing, critical and emergancy need for blood donation due to low blood supply desperatly needed for people undergoing hospital surgeries needing blood transfusions, burn survivors, cancer tretment and the treatment of persons with Sickle Cell; highlighting themes included: Advococy & Awareness, Urgency, Diversity and equity, Black History Month. ✅ 

Results: Tabling Event: Participated in The LWTech Community Health and Wellness Fair hosting a sucessful Tabling Event on behalf of the American Red Cross. ✅ 

Results: Social Media Promotion, for Sickle Cell and Pride. ✅ 

Results: News Media Coverage on Sickle Cell and the ongoing Critical and Emergancy Need for Blood Donation to Treat Persons with Sickle Cell. Inital outreach focused on a Special Highlight during Black History Month, centering on diversity and equity, health and well-being outcomes. Outreach included 4 News Media outletts, 1 the issue, and 2 bacame co-sponsors of blood drives.  ✅
